New Orleans

I returned from New Orleans last Sunday. I was there for the PCA/ACA conference...what an interesting city. I loved that Magnolia (middle name) trees were scattered everywhere...i also dearly loved that i could have an alcoholic beverage on the street...it was better than Vegas! I did the city tour and the vampire tour of the French Quarter. Though i'd have to say that the vampire tour could be a little improved if they would have talked a little bit more on the ghosts that inhabit the area as well, and not just a one dimensional focus on vampires. my presentation went well, even though i was terribly tired (8am scheduling). The history of the city was very interesting, as were the people in general, what a lively place!

If it were for you

i think i would have stayed. How awful the idea, when i think of how everything has now changed...fascinating how the world feels as if it moves by effortlessness. i've gained more than i lost, and that idea alone is frightening since i was under the impression that my world ended and begun with you. i'm well, dandy in fact. Getting over you happened so quickly i almost blinked and exhaled and the pain curled away like the wave at the shore. i do think of you often, and the "what if's," but again their only thoughts.

Heart of Hearts

Hello to the world. It's late and many a ramblings have been bouncing in the brain. As always the thoughts creep in when the darkness blankets the town. It's so weird the things that exist in the comfort of knowing that few have access. I guess what i mean is that when we are alone we are more in comfort with ourselves.
